How do we join and what are the costs?

STEPS FOR ENROLLING: 

[1] Sign in to Zsuite:

Enroll each member:  

-  Login to the Household Profile on Zsuite

-  Add any members that do not yet have a profile.

-  Click the enrollment button and complete steps for each member. 

-  Adults serving as project leaders or any role not found in the list, please select "Volunteer" when asked for the adult role.

(Every family is highly encouraged to have at least one adult register as a 4-H volunteer.)

[2] Pay for 4-H enrollment online or request fee waiver

FEE WAIVER: Please email us if an enrollment fee waiver is needed for 2026-27. When available we will post the waiver form link here.

Enrollment fees  this year are $85 per youth and $28 for adult volunteers. 

NOTE: DO NOT choose Adult $28 UNLESS you want to complete the Adult Volunteer Process to be a registered adult volunteer. 4-H will not refund adult enrollments for any reason and just paying the $28 does not qualify you to be an official volunteer. 

[3] Pay annual club dues payment of $50 per youth paid by CASH or CHECK ONLY directly to the club.  

This year dues will include a 4-H logo bag and pay for our community service project supplies, end of year celebration and end of year membership awards as well as other club activities, equipment, and supplies.  

[4] Sign up to our club projects' contact lists after you have completed stepa [1] to [3] above 

Contact List Enrollment will open September 15th, 2026 and a link will be provided here.

Note: (4-H is a volunteer-run program. We do not require our parents to volunteer during their first year; however, if you are thinking you might want to  lead a project or be a chaperone/ volunteer that attends camps and other activities in the future, you may want to register yourself as well.  All volunteers receive training and are livescanned and background checked.  If you want to simply have your child explore 4-H, then only register the child.  You are encouraged to attend a Community meeting to meet our membership to see if we are a good fit for your family prior to registering.  Please note that 4-H is not a “drop off” program. Parents are required to attend all 4-H events and activities with their youth, or make arrangements with another 4-H parent to supervise your children.)

ADDITIONAL STEPS FOR ADULT VOLUNTEER ENROLLMENT

IF you are enrolling as an Adult Volunteer AND you have completed steps [1]-[2] above continue with the following:

All Volunteers - Adult Volunteer Training:

- Sign in or create an account with the UC extension for adult training 

- (Scroll down for create account button)

- Scroll to bottom to enter Keycode: Ventura

- Make sure you are SIGNED IN to UC Extension with the same email as used for Zsuite, BEFORE starting a training course!!!
